Meet our Founder
Archisha Mehan is the Founder of FedConsult, where she helps government contractors better understand the federal marketplace, make informed strategic decisions, and focus their resources on the opportunities that matter most.
With more than 30 years of experience spanning federal market intelligence, procurement data, technology, business strategy, and commercial banking, Archisha brings a unique perspective to the challenges facing companies in the federal market. She is recognized for her ability to turn complex federal data into actionable intelligence—helping businesses understand where agencies are spending, how they are buying, whom they are buying from, and what those trends mean for their strategy.
Prior to founding FedConsult, Archisha served as Head of Federal – Public Sector at GovSpend, where she helped lead the company's efforts following its acquisition of Fedmine. Previously, as Vice President of Business Development at Fedmine, she helped drive the company's sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer strategy in the federal market intelligence space.
Earlier in her career, Archisha held leadership roles in commercial banking and SBA lending, giving her a broader business perspective that extends beyond federal business development and capture. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with small and mid-sized businesses, government contractors, technology companies, and industry organizations.
A frequent speaker, instructor, and writer on federal procurement and market trends, Archisha regularly addresses topics including federal spending, market intelligence, acquisition trends, small business contracting, and data-driven decision-making in GovCon.
Archisha is actively involved in the federal contracting and small business communities. Her involvement includes the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Small Business Council, the National HUBZone Council, and the SBA 504 Loan Committee for the Business Finance Group.
Archisha holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Stirling in Scotland and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Mumbai.
